Steam locomotives used on the Muroran Main line and the Yubari Line

For a while after WWII the Class D51, which was initially used for coal transportation and the Class C57 steam locomotive, which was the main passenger steam train, were used for passenger transport on the Muroran Main Line. The Class D50 was also used on the Yubari Line. On the other hand, the Class 9600 was moved to yard work at the Oiwake station.
